80m from our hotel, you will find an access point for the cross-country ski trail, taking you through the snow-covered Lantschfeld Valley or along the banks of the Taurachbach to Mauterndorf (10 km), where you will then be able to tie into the broader Lungau cross-country network (220 km). In Obertauern, there are 20 km of cross-country trails, also tracked for skating technique.

The World Cup Trail from the Pass Heights to the Felseralm and back, the perfect spot for cross-country skiers who are in top condition! The route is intermediate to expert (10 km).
The Gnadenalmloipe begins above the Gnadenalm - in the direction of Untertauern - reachable by car or ski bus. All levels of difficulty are represented (15 km).

80m from the hotel, you will find a floodlit toboggan run. And once a week, we host a fun-filled evening tobogganing expedition, topped off by a big bowl of hot punch.
Tobogganing in Obertauern - toboggan run on the Gnadenalm: 3 km outside of town, floodlit along ca. 1.5 km of the run, daily from 11.00 a.m. - 10:30 p.m. The walk up takes about 30-45 min. Relatively steep, fast track - taking you down to the Gnadenalmstüberl, where you will be able to warm up and enjoy some great refreshments.
